Description

Tripp Lite Power It! TLM606NC 6-Outlet Power Strip, 6-ft. Cord 1800 Watt

The Tripp Lite Power It! TLM606NC power strip offers reliable, convenient and affordable power distribution. It’s great for appliances, power tools, lighting and other electrical equipment. It includes 6 NEMA 5-15R outlets, 1.83 m (6-ft.) AC power cord and keyhole mounting slots. A multi-outlet strip reduces cable clutter and enables the connection of multiple electrical devices to a single AC wall socket.

Plus, it features rugged metal case to stand up to the most demanding environments. It also boasts an illuminated power switch with transparent cover. This prevents accidental shutoff, and an 15A integrated circuit breaker to prevent dangerous overloads.

Tripp Lite Power Distribution Units – Single-Phase and 3-Phase

The rack PDU is a foundational building block of the modern data center. It transforms high capacity raw power feeds to lower capacity outlets for IT equipment. Tripp-Lite offers hundreds of single- and 3‐phase PDUs with a variety of price points and features, including remote management of distributed and edge infrastructure.

Difference between Single-Phase and 3-Phase

One key difference between single-phase vs. three-phase is that a three-phase power supply better accommodates higher loads. Single-phase power supplies are most commonly used when typical loads are lighting or heating, rather than large electric motors.

There’s one other important difference between 3-phase power and single phase power. That’s the consistency of the delivery of power. Because of the peaks and dips in voltage, a single-phase power supply simply does not offer the same consistency as a three-phase power supply. A three-phase power supply delivers power at a steady, constant rate.

To compare the two, three-phase power supplies are more efficient. A three-phase power supply can transmit three times as much power as a single-phase power supply. Thus, three-phase power supplies use less conductor material to transmit electrical power than single-phase power supplies.
