USB-C to DisplayPort Converter Connects a USB-C or Thunderbolt Port to an 8K Monitor
This USB Type-C to DisplayPort adapter (M/M) connects an 8K-capable DisplayPort monitor, projector or television to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on your MacBook Pro, Windows laptop, tablet or smartphone. It’s an ideal cable for Ultra HD video applications, including editing professional video or digital artwork, upgrading your trade show or conference presentations, playing online games or watching movies on a larger 8K screen.
Supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Converting Audio/Video Signals
By connecting the USB-C end to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can output 8K video and digital audio to a DisplayPort monitor, television or projector without installing special software drivers.
Transmits 8K Video with HDR and 4:4:4 Color
The U444-006-DP8K6 supports data transfer speeds up to 8.16 Gbps per-lane (32.4 Gbps total) bandwidth for high-end A/V applications. It can transmit UHD specifications up to 7680 x 4320 (8K) at 60 Hz and 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 144 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color. High Dynamic Range (HDR) provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 8K display. HDCP 2.3 encryption allows you to stream 4K or 8K content with no complications. This adapter also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor. Note: Both the source and display must support the desired resolution to function appropriately.
Latching Connector Helps Prevent Accidental Disconnection and Expensive Downtime
Having a cable come loose accidentally can mean costly and time-consuming signal loss. The latching DisplayPort connector helps you avoid such danger, protecting your transmission by maintaining a secure link without failure.
Ready to Use Right from the Package, So You Can Plug and Play Immediately
The plug-and-play USB Type-C to DisplayPort adapter requires no software or external power. Just connect the USB-C plug to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port on a source device that supports USB DisplayPort Alt Mode, and connect the DisplayPort end to your 8K monitor.
