This bus-powered video capture adapter allows you to record 4K video from an HDMI source, such as a webcam, cable/satellite box, gaming console, security camera or media center. Then, you can transmit that 4K video to your computer or laptop’s USB-A port for editing or real-time streaming to an audience. The U444-H4K6-CAP is recommended for office presentations, workplace meetings, online game streaming, podcasts and video productions
Compatible with a Wide Range of Popular Video Applications
The U444-H4K6-CAP lets you record conference calls, presentations, security feeds, training videos and more using third-party software, including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Twitch and GoToMeeting. You can edit video using VLC or OBS (among other software) and release it through YouTube and other contentsharing sites. This adapter also works with Google Hangouts and Adobe Connect. It supports USB Video Content (UVC) and USB Audio Content (UAC) for driver-free usage with both Windows and macOS computers.
Transmits 4K Video with HDR and 4:4:4 Color
The U444-H4K6-CAP supports Ultra HD 4K resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. It supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), providing a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks that pop on your 4K display. HDCP 2.3 encryption allows you to stream 4K content with no complications. This adapter also supports uncompressed 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor. Note: The maximum video output resolution is determined by the video specifications of the host device and HDMI cable connected to the adapter.
