The FortiSwitch 148E POE blends tightly into the Fortinet Security Fabric via FortiLink, a unique, cutting-edge managing tool. This allows any FortiGate firewall to manage any FortiSwitch. As a result, the FortiSwitch becomes a logical extension of the FortiGate. As a result, the 148E blends directly into the Fortinet Security Fabric. At that point, you manage your FortiSwitch right from the familiar FortiGate interface. The nice thing is, it’s a “single pane of glass” interface. This provides complete visibility and control of users and devices on the network, no matter how they connect.
