The FortiSwitch124B-POE is designed for small/mid-size businesses, classrooms and distributed remote locations that want to benefit from converged networking with lowest TCO.
This switch offers total of 26 ports: 24 10/100 Mbps access ports, two copper 10/100/1000 uplink ports shared with two hot-swappable Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) cages for optional fiber connectivity. This standards based PoE Switch, provides power and data over the same Cat-5 UTP cable along with prioritization and SNMP making it ideal for deploying access points, VoIP phones and IP-based surveillance cameras. This high performing switch features non-blocking wire-speed architecture with an 8.8Gbps switching capacity for maximum data throughput.
This managed switch also provides capabilities for VLAN segmentation of your voice, video, data and wireless traffic. Via its built-in PoE power supply it can provide up to 100 watts of power, shared among the first 12 ports. In a typical office setting you can power wireless APs, VOIP phones as well as PC connectivity. All PoE ports are capable of sourcing 15.4 Watts of power.
