The APC Smart-UPS RT Equipment Cart is part of the APC’s accessory solutions that are tailored to help the Smart-UPS to meet your specific needs. It is compatible with parts numbers SURT14KRMXLJ, SURT18KRMXLJ, SURT20KRMXLT-1TF10K, SURT20KRMXLT-TF5, and SURT20KUXI-IN.
APC Smart-UPS is a family of high performance backup power supplies. They are ideal for servers, networking equipment, telecommunication systems, industrial and medical equipment, and other mission-critical applications.
APC Smart-UPS UPSs are based on the field-proven, industry-leading Smart-UPS functionality. But they feature double conversion on-line topology. That means tight voltage and frequency regulation, zero transfer time to and from battery, and input power factor correction. While offering advanced performance and high availability features, the Smart-UPS RT is manageable via PowerChute software, as well as an array of SmartSlot accessories.
Smart-UPS provides battery back up to the load through the use of internal batteries. However, an unlimited number of external battery packs can be added to meet desired levels of runtime. All Smart-UPS and battery packs ship in tower configuration, but easily convert to the 19″ rack-mount mode with the APC Rail Kit.
Features
One feature that stands out on the APC Smart-UPS series is APC’s SmartConnect technology. That means you can login via a secure portal via any internet-connected device. Then you can view the status of your UPS, receive notifications, get firmware updates and more.
So for those who don’t have time to monitor the UPS, this can be quite valuable. In addition, the UPS also has both line interactive topology (via an automatic voltage regulator), and uses a clean pure sine wave form for output. This makes it compatible with most any computer or audio gear.
